Sea shells and Anemones!

We headed down to Point Loma to Cabrillo National Monument 2 weekends ago for some tide pool fun. It was another beautiful day here with blue skies and sparkling seas!

Wild Animal Park adventures...

We took a ride over to the Wild Animal Park a couple of weeks ago. Poor Jaedyn had a sinus infection and ear infections, but rather than torture myself and Ashlyn by staying inside all day we decided to head to the WAP. Jaedyn spent most of the day sitting in the stroller feeling miserable which is why he's not in many of the pictures. Thankfully Jaedyn (and Ashlyn who came down with the exact same things) are almost totally better now. So stay away germs!!!

Stop Drop and Roll

We went on a tour of a local fire station this week with our Church playgroup. I got a little nervous when the first event was sitting in the classroom for a little fire safety question and answer session. I was picturing small toddlers climbing out of the seats, fussing and not wanting to give the fire fighter the time of day. However I was pleasantly surprised when pretty much all the kids sat and listened without making a peep.


Lilly Gharst was the only volunteer for the stop, drop and roll demonstration.

One of the guys got all suited up to send a message to the kids that even though he looked scary, he's actually your friend.



Possibly my favorite part....watching Jaedyn get super excited about his reflection which doubled the size of his head. So funny.

Cookies and Milk

Jaedyn's little preschool had a special story time night this week. It was story time at his school with cookies and milk and you were supposed to come in your pajamas with your favorite little stuffed animal and blanket. Ashlyn was invited as well which she was super excited about (although by the end of the night she was definitely pooped).

This is Connor, Jaedyn's best friend who he adores.

Happy Birthday Lilly Bean

Our little friend, Lilly recently turned two. We celebrated with her by eating Allison's homemade cake which I have decided I'm never going to attempt to make, and having a dance party with flashlights and of course some dance tunes. Thanks for the fun times Gharsts! :)
