Of course Easter cannot be Easter without an egg hunt! Rob and I took Jaedyn and Ashlyn to their first official community egg hunt last weekend (one of three...we currently have more candy than we did at Halloween and we haven't even finished the Halloween candy yet!) . It was held at RB community park which is right down the street. Picture a crowd of anxious parents with small children of all ages gripping their baskets lined up against a fence. The field of plastic eggs seemed to be calling "pick me up, pick me up!" while the organizer rambled on about who knows what for a ridiculously long time. (it was so windy that we couldn't even hear a dang thing the lady was saying) Suddenly a light bulb went off and some 2 year olds ran out plowing the lady down causing a stampede of small children blazing behind to collect those wonderful plastic eggs! It was RIDICULOUSLY crowded, but pretty entertaining and thankfully Jaedyn filled up his basket with lots of eggs!
