Easter weekend was jam packed with fun events! On Saturday we all went over to Jaedyn's school where the church held a fabulous Easter activity for the kids. Jaedyn had another egg hunt and learned more about the real meaning of Easter (if you have any questions just ask Jaedyn...he's become an Easter expert). Then on Sunday my mom and I shared the cooking duties and invited our Canadian friends the Oswalds over for an Easter dinner at our place. Everything was fabulous other than that wonderfully gigantic earthquake that we had in the afternoon. It pretty much scared the pants off of all of us (and thanks to the 8 million aftershocks...these earthquakes are keeping us on our toes!)
We have officially created some more Wii addicts...as you can tell from the expressions we have some competitive blood flowing in the Crockett/Brill families.
This was the first year that Jaedyn really got into decorating eggs. I thought his eye balls were going to pop out of his head when I plunked the little dye drop in the vinegar and it started fizzing. About half way into the egg coloring process he said hasta the vista to the little metal thing and decided to use his fingers instead.
Although she is petite those little legs are very strong!
