It has been toastier than ever here for the past few weeks with temperatures in the high 90's low 100's every day. Jaedyn, Ashlyn and I have been not doing very much other than going to the beach and swimming in our pool. We did manage to get away one day with our friends Allison and Kellie and visited the fabulous Quail Botanical Gardens. I had forgotten how much I loved this place which is filled with all kinds of growth, beautiful ponds with lily pads and a pretty big waterfall (behind Jaedyn in the above picture). They just added a whole new section for kids which includes a wading stream, the coolest tree house I have ever seen and a whole percussion section. A very fun place!

Rob has been working like a mad-man on his thesis. I think he might be losing his marbles.
We had to get just a few pictures of Ashlyn in our favorite bath towel before we have to put it away. :(
