For Halloween Jaedyn dressed up as a bat and Ashlyn was a butterfly. I was a little nervous about the bat costume because Jaedyn talked and talked and talked and talked about dressing up as a "big black bat with giant ears and huge wings that would make him fly" literally every day for a couple of weeks before Halloween. He was soooooo excited and focused on the features...I was really hoping that I could whip something up that he would love. Thankfully I did...he LOVED his big ears and his wings.
We did some trick or treating with one of Jaedyn's best friends, Connor. We headed to their house for some chili and corn bread and then busted a move around their neighborhood for some treats. Jaedyn zipped around from house to house running ahead of the rest of us. Ashlyn tried to keep up, but once she realized what was in her little bucket all she wanted to do was eat the candy!
