Apparently Ashlyn thinks she's quite the performer...

The Bernardo Winery...one of my favorite places.

I just love this place and the old, rustic feel that it has...old wooden wheels everywhere, wagons, roses bushes, cute shops and the farmers market. Jaedyn's favorite places... the cafe where we buy a muffin, the glass blowing place and purchasing flowers at the farmers market.

Happy 4th of July !

Happy Anniversary to us.....

Rob and I celebrated our 12th anniversary last Sunday . Woo hoo! We had planned on heading over to Del Mar for the fair, but due to some work that Rob had to do we never made it and instead took a last minute trip to the beach.








This dog was going totally nuts on the beach...reminded me so much of my old dog, Pepper who used to run in circles in our backyard at rocket ship speed. So stinkin' funny.

Ashlyn LOVES dogs and doesn't seem to be afraid of them at all even when they are riding size!

Father's Day Fun

For Father's Day we went to a summer concert series in one of our local parks. It was a Beatles cover band in a local park not far from us. We all had a blast!




Jaedyn stood glued to the stage 90% of the time while everyone around him had a dance party. At one point some random women (I think they were a bit tipsy) tried to dance with him. He looked at me, smiled and then ignored them and went on staring. That's him in the picture above right smack in the middle.


Ashlyn on the other hand kept Rob very busy. She decided to do laps around Poway Park and visited just about everyone who had a lawn chair for her to help herself to. Here was a rare moment of about 5 minutes where Ashlyn and Jaedyn were together dancing.
