We ended our Father's Day with a nice little sunset walk down to our little tot lot. It was a great way to end a day celebrating a great dad who is super fun and who is very loved. :0)
Jaedyn took a stab at taking a picture with my camera. Not bad considering it was his first time and the thing weighs nearly as much as he does.

The Next Harlem Crocketttrotters...
Strawberry Picking...
I got my lens back and have been taking pictures like a mad woman. Hooray! We went strawberry picking last week with our Church playgroup. Jaedyn LOVED it...Ashlyn...eh, not so much. She very much enjoyed picking them and then throwing them which wasn't so good. She was also a little under the weather which made her super tired a bit winey and a bit of a party pooper. Anyway...here's a little looksie.
Mary Poppins...or something like that.
Come on you know you tried it as a kid...gathering as many balloons as you could, jumping off the highest piece of furniture and soaring through the air (or in this case living room) like a bird in flight. Jaedyn tried so hard to fly and was disappointed to find out that his technique would not bring any soaring, but sinking.
A little sibling tug of war...Jaedyn "uhhhhh...are you going to let her pull my balloons?"
Me "yes...but just for a minute while I take a picture".
Yay...that blonde hair is growing!
Ashlyn being her usual expressive self. :)

Pre-school...CHECK!
Jaedyn had his last official day of pre-school this past week. I looked back and found a couple of pictures from his very first day of preschool as a 3 year old. Crazy how much he has changed in just 2 years. Jaedyn will be starting PEPP in the fall. It's comparable to pre-k on the east coast. M-F half days. Jaedyn really made some huge social changes this past year. In the past 3-4 months he went from doing his own thing to really engaging with the other kids in his class. With PEPP we are hoping that Jaedyn will continue to come out of his shell and continue to become more confident as he will go from a class of 8 kids to a class of 21! YEOWSA!
First big day as a 3 year old!
Last day as a soon to be 5 year old!
Jaedyn's teacher...Mrs. Turner. She's a singer and totally appreciated, embraced and encouraged Jaedyn's musical gifts this year. Such a blessing!
One of his little friends...Brooklyn
Mrs. Arnold..his other fabulous teacher. Mrs. Arnold's husband is a drummer, so she also loved seeing Jaedyn get down with some drum sticks.
This little guy was in Jaedyn's class his first year of preschool. They were pretty good buddies by the end of the year. This past year Jaedyn asked about Sam a million times. We finally saw him at the end of the year picnic and it pretty much was the cutest thing ever. The reunion was so ridiculously cute...Jaedyn went over to Sam (who was on a teeter totter) and said "Sam, it's me Jaedyn". Sam literally jumped off the teeter totter) and with great excitement and huge eye balls exclaimed "Jaedyn, it's you! You are here!" So cute! I got his number so this time we can stay in touch. Yay!
